Due to not knowing who was acting in our music video until the actual afternoon I only had a rough idea of what clothes to bring in to do the filming with, however in the afternoon I ran home and raided my wardrobe for the 'rock n roll' and 'retro-american' look. I grabbed 5 outfits one for each of the dancers and we matched the outfits up as soon as we got in to the location.
These are all the outfits that I raided my wardrobe for! I grabbed 6 tops and 5 pairs of shorts, we will need the dancers to wear the same outfit for each of the locations.
This is the outfit that Lucy wore, Lucy was a dancer, the top is from Forever 21, and the shorts are from Gap. The top could be seen as 'rock' as it has dark colours, however the shorts are very vintage as this is what people in the 70's would wear.
After an outfit change my Lauren this is what she eventually settled on! The top is also Forever 21 and the shorts are from Primark. This could be classed as an 'American-retro' outfit as the top is of a retro style.
This is what I wore. The top is from New Look whereas the shorts are from a boutique called Joy. We wanted to get some of the dancers to wear leather so that it could relate to Mick Jaggers costume.
This is the outfit that Louise wore. The top is from Topshop whereas the shorts are from New Look. This style gave off a vintage feel as the shorts are also high waisted.
The top was worn by Jess Preston who also wore Chinos with it. The top is from New Look. We wanted one of the dancers to wear a 'fringe' top as this could relate to the era. The shorts were worn by Steph, they are from Topshop, Steph also wore the a fur coat and the matching top to Christians trousers, this gave the 'rock n roll' vibe.
This top was worn by Louis who, for part of the filming, was playing the guitar. The top is from a stool in Camden Market. This top again gave a 'rock' vibe as it is a picture of a well known rock band. Louis wore with it the gold trousers that we bought from a charity shop, the gold trousers are similar to the outfit Christian was wearing which related them well.
